Common questions
The camera isn't seeing my kid's hands.
Sit about an arm's length from the iPad — roughly 2 to 3 feet. Closer and Pip can only see part of the hand; farther and the hand looks like a smudge. The "How to Play" tour in-app shows the right distance.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPad?
Settings → Restore Purchases (inside the app). The Full Game Unlock is Family Shareable too — anyone in your Family Sharing group gets it automatically once you've bought it.
Does Handjam send images of my child anywhere?
No. The camera processing happens entirely on the iPad. No frame, image, or audio ever leaves the device. Privacy policy.
I lost progress / leaderboard scores.
Game data is stored locally on the iPad. If the app was deleted and reinstalled, or you've moved to a new device without restoring from iCloud backup, the score history won't come with you. (Full Game Unlock is tied to your Apple ID — that one survives.)
Can I get a refund?
All purchases are handled by Apple; refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
