Short version

Handjam doesn't collect anything. The camera processes hand gestures on your iPad and the results never leave the device.

What we don't do

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. No accounts. No logins. No email addresses. No analytics SDKs. No third-party trackers. No advertising identifiers.

Camera

Handjam uses your iPad's camera to detect hand poses. This processing happens entirely on the device, using Apple's on-device VNDetectHumanHandPoseRequest. No image, video, or audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted off the device. The camera feed is not even displayed during gameplay — only the gesture classification result.

Local data

Handjam stores game progress (score, leaderboard entries, theme/difficulty preferences) locally on your iPad using iOS's standard UserDefaults. This data never leaves the device. If you delete the app, all data is removed.

In-app purchases

The optional Full Game Unlock is processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We don't see your Apple ID, payment details, or purchase history. Apple may share with us aggregate, anonymized sales data through App Store Connect.

Children

Handjam is in Apple's "Made for Kids" category for ages 6–8. We follow Apple's strict requirements for children's apps, including no behavioral advertising, no third-party tracking, no external links other than to this support page, and parental gates on all in-app purchases.
